The Trekkers Volkssport Club was established in 1988 to bring the benefits of Volkssport to the residents of St. Albert, Edmonton, and area. Over 20 years later we're still going strong! The club is affliated with the world-wide Volkssport organization. This affliation allow walkers to participate in walks all over the world. Volkssport Association of Alberta - VAA


VAA
The Volkssport Association of Alberta is the 'umbrella' connecting all Volkssport clubs in Alberta.

Role of VAA

The Association encourages the formation of new clubs, offering information and support, traveling to the area to help set up the club and walks if necessary. Look for details about our AGM and join in the weekend of activities.

Canadian Volkssport Federation - CVF


The Canadian Volkssport Federation is our national organization, connecting all Volkssport clubs in Canada.
 
 

Role of CVF

The CVF is the umbrella organization for all Volkssport activities in Canada. It approves new clubs, sanctions all walks,creates and manages new walk programs, and processes all walk awards. In addition CVF represents Canada at Volksport International meetings.

International Federation of Popular Sport - IVV

Our world-wide organization is the International Federation of Popular Sports (Internationaler Volkssportverband).
 
 

Role of IVV

 The IVV is the world-wide organization responsible for establishing Volkssport organizationsaround the world.
American Volkssport Association - AVA
The American Volkssport Association is the USA national organization connecting all Volkssport clubs in the USA.

Role of AVA
 
The AVA is the umbrella organization for all Volkssport activities in the USA.
It approves new clubs, sanctions all walks,creates and manages new walk programs, and processes all walk awards. In addition AVA represents the USA at Volksport International meetings.
